Invest Rs.5500 Per Month and Get 3 Crore as Return!! How to Invest | Guide for Beginners

Hello! My Dear Friends

So I will start my blog with a motive to share basic knowledge on investment to all beginners who want to save or invest their money but don't have complete knowledge or not able to find ways to start investing.

If you have started with this blog I believe you are investing some time to grow in your life so please be patient and give your valuable 10 min to this blog and I will make sure you can learn something which will eventually help you in financial freedom.

What Is Investment?

An Investment is significantly an asset that will eventually help your money to grow or generate you a source of income, which we also say as a passive source of income. So Investment can be of multiple types, listing few below -

  • Growth Investment
  • Property Investment
  • Cash Investment
  • Fixed Interest

Types of Investment

1. Growth Investment -

Growth Investment is something which is suitable for long term purpose. So basically investors who are able to withstand the Ups and Down of the market for a long period of time should try investing in this.

Minimum time of Investment - 5 years

    Investment Category - High Risk

Examples - Stocks and Mutual Fund (Lumpsum and SIP)

Point of Purchase - Offline: Banks, Online: Banks or Groww Application

2. Property Investment -

Buying a property is considered to be an investment. But is that TRUE ? So why this question came, let me explain it. Suppose today you bought a flat or any property at 60 Lakh. So with the loan amount of approximately 50 Lakh and a time period of 20years, you will be eventually paying Rs.46000 per month and the total amount will come around Rs.1,20,00,000.

Now just think you have actually paid just double the amount, now you are staying in the flat for the last 20 years, in case of some emergency you cannot sell it because you don't have another option to stay. Also, there is a high probability that the value of the property may depreciate. Now do you think it is a mode of investment or mode of satisfaction, please comment below and let me know whats your point on this.

Minimum time of Investment - 10 years

    Investment Category - High Risk

Examples - Buying Flats, Lands, etc.

Point of Purchase - Offline: Brokers

3. Cash Investment -

Cash Investment includes bank account, high-interest saving accounts, term deposits like Public Provident Fund (PPF), National Saving Certificate (NSC), Monthly Income Schemes (MIS), etc. So basically this sector gives the lowest potential return in comparison to other investment types.

The term policies and bank accounts included in this investment are monitored by governing bodies.

Minimum time of Investment - 6 months

Investment Category - Very Low Risk

Examples - Fixed Deposit, Recurring Deposit, PPF, NSC, MIS, etc.

Point of Purchase - Offline: Banks, Online: Bank Application

4. Fixed Interest Investment -

Government Bonds are part of Fixed Interest Investment. This sector has returns marginally greater than Cash Investment, they can relatively be sold easily and can be liquidity in an emergency.

Minimum time of Investment - 10, 20, 30 years tenure

Investment Category - Low Risk

Examples - Government Bonds

Point of Purchase - Offline: Banks or Primary Dealers, Online: Groww Application.
